We offer cross-country skiing lessons (classic technique and skating), Telemark skiing courses for all ability levels, as well as guided snowshoe hikes throughout the Arlberg region.

Does the ski school offer courses for complete beginners?
Yes. We offer dedicated beginner courses in cross-country skiing (classic and skating), Telemark skiing and snowshoeing. These courses teach basic techniques, balance and safe movement from the ground up.

Can I book private lessons flexibly, and how many people can take part?
Private lessons can be booked flexibly by the hour or for a full day. They are suitable for individuals as well as private small groups of around 4 to 6 people with a similar ability level.

Are group courses or technique workshops also available?
Yes. In addition to individual private coaching, small-group courses and focused technique workshops, such as advanced skating technique, are available on request and on selected dates.

Where do the courses take place and where are the meeting points?
Meeting points are arranged flexibly according to your preferences and snow conditions – typically directly at the cross-country trail or ski lift in St. Anton am Arlberg, St. Christoph, Stuben or Lech/Zürs.

Can I hire the necessary equipment directly through the ski school?
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing equipment can be hired directly through the ski school or in cooperation with Hotel Bergheim and partner sports shops.

Can you recommend where to hire specialist Telemark equipment?
Yes. The ski school can advise you in advance on Telemark skis, specialist bindings and boots, and can arrange suitable hire equipment through specialist partner shops in the Arlberg region.

Do I need a ski pass or cross-country trail pass to take part in a course?
Use of the cross-country skiing trails in St. Anton am Arlberg is free of charge, so no trail pass is required. For Telemark courses within the ski area, a valid Ski Arlberg ski pass is required.

How far in advance should courses be booked and how can I make a reservation?
We recommend booking as early as possible via the website, by email or by telephone, particularly during the peak season from Christmas to February.

What is the cancellation policy in the event of bad weather or insufficient snow?
Courses take place in almost all weather conditions. In the event of official closures or insufficient snow, we will arrange an alternative date wherever possible or cancel the booking free of charge.

Do you also offer guided snowshoe tours away from prepared trails?
Yes. We offer guided panoramic and deep-snow snowshoe tours. Safety equipment, such as an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel, can be provided if required or may be a prerequisite for certain tours.

Does the ski school offer courses in different languages?
Yes. Lessons and guided tours are offered in German and English as standard. Other languages may be available on request.
